I would not use anything but vitamin E oil simply because it replenishes your natural oils and it does reduce the tightness due to scaring, making the scars seem to vanish. Don't be naive to think that scars will disappear completely, vitamin E only reduces the tension due to the area been dried up so it makes them seem to disappear, but they are there just less noticeable. Maybe the product you will use behaves the same way, would not be surprise if it has vitamin E oil. Just as a note vitamin E is cheap and can be found over the counter, about 5 dollars a little bottle that will last you 3 months, using it everyday on a scar the size of a quarter, just a guideline so you can see how cheap it is, rather than paying allot more for less effective stuff. Always check with your doctor to make sure you are not allergic to too much vitamin E, you never know so is a good rule to check. GOOD LUCK.........

Well when I cut the space for myself I wouldn't cut the box bottoms completely. I would leave them as flaps you can fold into the lower layer so that you can really attach them well so you don't risk accidently moving and breaking something. Should I talk to my boss about difficulty with tasks at work?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and a waitress. I recently started having trouble with certain tasks that come with the job. I can still do most of the job, but have been having trouble with things that require bending and/or lifting heavy items. We have had pregnant women working there during their entire pregnancy before so I would think my managers would already be aware of potential problems I might have. I didn't think I would have any problems with just asking my coworkers for help, but I seem to have been wrong. When I have asked my coworkers for help with tasks, some people have gladly helped and even gone so far as to stop me from doing things to do them themselves. However, I have had a few encounters where the coworker has said no to helping me or even once gave me a rude and sarcastic retort that I didn't deserve. I don't want to name names or cause any problems, but I think that sitting down with my boss and laying out what I'm having difficulty with may help in the future when things get even harder (which I'm sure they will). However, I don't wnat it to seem like I'm trying to get out of work, I'd gladly do other tasks in place of it. How should I approach my boss without seeming like I'm trying to take advantage of my pregnancy or should I just continue to ask others for help and avoid asking those who have given me problems in the past?

I work in an office full of Civil engineers (all men, the admin staff is all women). The CEO of our company is my uncle. He has been so unfriendly lately (maybe due to midlife crisis or something) but on top of that one of our cad employees quit (literally just up and left) last week and my supervisor and our CFO were making openly rude comments about it. She was the only woman back there in the cad department and her reason for leaving was that she didn't feel comfortable anymore. She was such a nice person and it was shocking to me to hear the comments. I thought it was very unprofessional. Also, I have had bronchitis for quite some time and have missed two days of work ( not consecutively) and when I came back to work they all made comments that I wasn't really sick (played it off in a joking way). It really made me upset because when I was at the doctors office my mother called and said that my work had called my house (she was at my house at the time) and wanted to know if I was still too sick to come in (I had 103 fever). I want to make a cage for my thistle seed feeder, but I want the holes to only be big enough for goldfinches..?

Ok, this is my situation. The reason I need a cage around the feeder, is so that the larger birds won't hog all the seeds away from the goldfinches. I don't mind that other small birds of that size can get in, I just wanna keep the house finches, sparrows, chickadees, etc. outta there. I know that the goldfinch is like 5 inches long, but none of the bird sites seem to report how tall they are upright (or how wide either). That's why I don't know how high or wide the holes in the cage should be. I live in an area where goldfinches inhabit year round, and I realize they would be brown right now, but if you can't keep a supply of thistle seed, you'll most likely never see them! So that's where I am. DIVX to avi?

I downloaded some films in avi format and watched some of them on my laptop using VLC media player. They now seem to be DIVX files. I want to transfer them to my PDA so they need to be in avi format. I used Virtual dub to try to convert them back to avi but it seemed to suggest that one film would be about 40 gig in avi, how could this be it was only about 350mb to begin with when an avi file? OK! More Insurance Crap!! HELP?

ok, like in my previous postings, i was in a car accident, not my fault, she hit me from the rear & admitted to not paying attention! its on the police report too!! She (other driver) doesnt have insurance, was driving on a suspended license, & expired tags & was not arrested but only given tickets! I, on the other hand, have full coverage insurance, but found out that I do not have uninsured motorist property damage but thats ok because I have collision coverage, BUT, I do have uninsured motorist bodily injuries! They (my ins. co.) said at first, my injuries were covered & I would be reembersed for my medical bills & wages lost at work! NOW, they call me & say that my uninsured bodily injuries only covers the uninsured driver & not my injuries!!! What the hell? They are my company & she hit me & they are going to pay for her injuries & not MINE? Is this right? What should I do? Meanwhile, my car is totaled & I owe more than what the car is worth by $2,000, so I'm going to be stuck paying for that out of pocket as well as my medical bills & my days missed at work (dr ordered me to stay off work for a week) I'm basiclly screwed??? My fav thing to make is homemade chic soup, But I use water, carrots, celery, onions, allot of spices. I do add a boullion cube, just so I dont have to add any salt. It also does help color it. Edelbrock carb loading up after trucks turned off?

I have a 78 chevy truck, 305 all stock except edelbrock 600 and perfomer intake. The motor does burn a good bit of oil after sitting overnight, and after been running maybe just a little haze. But what its doing is, after you drive it and let it sit say 10 to 15 mins, you go to start it back up and I have to hold it to the floor and crank on it for about 20 seconds sometimes more, then blows black and white smoke. I had a q-jet on it before and it did the same thing, so could it be oil leaking down and flooding the cylinder? any ideas?

Hi , u r tiny age wise , i wish I had a magic wand to move in ur direction so that all ur problems would go away , but if my being a doctor can help you , some help is on ur way . First about Diet : you are not suppose to eat any thing from Bakery ( biscuits, bread,noodles ,pizza, burger etc). Any thing sweet to taste is not for you except an apple a day or a pear a day. Oil only 500 ml for one person in whole month. No milk & milk products except 200 ml of double toned milk & curd of same milk. Cheese only home made , eat Idli/dhokla/white Oats /sprouts as brunches . Take lot of salad with lunch & dinner , eat plenty of green vegetables & lentils. Now exercise : sit ups , push ups & abs plus climbing stairs in ur house are few great weight reducing exercises. Finally do read carefully what i m about to suggest :there are two ways one gains weight , first by over eating and doing no physical work , second type is a weight gain without any apparent reason , i mean second category persons don't eat much but still gain lot of weight. Those who eat more & do nothing , they should go to a dietitian to get a diet chart and join a gym. The one in second category should go to a doctor called Endocrinologist to find out the cause of weight gain and then take his advice . Thyroid & Insulin resistance can be likely cause ! In girls if there is excess weight especially around the waist ,then should go for Insulin Resistance testing

BADLY! I've been on a diet for about 2 months lost 8 pounds( and yes ive cheated a little throughout the 2 months but not like this) yesterday i had a bagel (bad choice) then skipped lunch then my family went out to dinner i ordered only a salad but then they got appetizers i couldnt resist i had 2 mottzarella sticks and 2 chicken wings, THEN it was my sisters bday so we made homemade cake so i had cake, THEN i had one of those small bags of skittles. ugh. I am 44 and single. For over 20 years I have found myself attracted and or inspired by (put another way fancy) girls who have seemingly had more choices and options than to go for someone like me, this presumably explains why I have been pretty consistently rejected as I just havent been able to make my mark. Should i let the ASPSA fix my kitten?

My 5 year old sis was opening a door and accidently hit my kittens leg. She didnt hit it hard but the kittens leg started hurting and it started limping. It doesnt walk on its hind leg much. 3.5 year olds not fully potty trained?

Hi! I've already posted this, but I'm reposting it with a bit more explanation due to the negative response I received. I should note, I really, really care about the twins that I nanny for (almost four, male and female). Anyways, they're almost four, but not completely potty trained. They are completely healthy physically and mentally and have the bodily control as they have used the toilet before and know when they need to go. However I feel like if they demand a diaper from me especially when they need to pee, that I'm just further enabling them by giving it to them. I honestly don't see a reason to keep them in diapers just because they want to be in diapers, I mean I've seem them with super sore bums from having a full diaper on all day in kindergarten - I don't see how that can be justified but being firm and saying 'no diapers' can't even though it would put an end to needless pain. I should also say, I p no judgement onto their parents for this, I can sympathize that after a long day at work you don't want to have your child screaming and yelling and crying when you could just put them in a diaper and be done with it. Also, I understand that this is a usual phase for lots of children - peeing in a toilet but not going BM, but for almost a year? Isn't that a bit long, and becoming unhealthy? As I said, I really do see it as enabling them by giving into their demands, what if I gave them chocolate, candy etc every time they demanded it? Also, they are fully aware that none of their peers in Kindergarten are still in diapers, and they've started teasing each other about it (ironic because it's both of them) so I feel they've internalized that they probably shouldn't be in diapers at this point but have become fixated on it. SO, my question, now a bit more explained, still stands as: do you think I should, as a caregiver who sees them every day, put my foot down and refuse them diapers? For peeing in? For BM's? ALSO, I have talked to the parents about this and the inconsistency kills me - sometimes it's "yes just put them in diapers" and other times it's "no, stand your ground and don't give them a diaper".

I think Leonardo was more of a scientific mind than an artist. And Michealangelo had more creative precision. Leonardo concentrated on biological types and Michealangelo was more humanistic. Psychologists tell us that to form a new groove in the brain - a new habit/way of thinking, we have to do the same (new) thing at least 11 times in a row. 2. Why give in to the conditioning society has given us? Why not think and feel for our truest selves? (as long as it does not harm you or anyone else) - why not tune in to how you are feeling and choose to honour that - what's wrong with staying home with a good movie and some good things to eat, or have one or more friends over to share the same? And what is New Year's even or a Christmas Party other than a particular ritual in a particular cultural setting? If you choose staying home and it turns out it didn't suit you after all, you can chalk it up to getting to know yourself better and think about doing it different next year.
