I'm 17 and need to lose weight desperately..plz share ur weight loss journey wid me?
Hi , u r tiny age wise , i wish I had a magic wand to move in ur direction so that all ur problems would go away , but if my being a doctor can help you , some help is on ur way . First about Diet : you are not suppose to eat any thing from Bakery ( biscuits, bread,noodles ,pizza, burger etc). Any thing sweet to taste is not for you except an apple a day or a pear a day. Oil only 500 ml for one person in whole month. No milk & milk products except 200 ml of double toned milk & curd of same milk. Cheese only home made , eat Idli/dhokla/white Oats /sprouts as brunches . Take lot of salad with lunch & dinner , eat plenty of green vegetables & lentils. Now exercise : sit ups , push ups & abs plus climbing stairs in ur house are few great weight reducing exercises. Finally do read carefully what i m about to suggest :there are two ways one gains weight , first by over eating and doing no physical work , second type is a weight gain without any apparent reason , i mean second category persons don't eat much but still gain lot of weight. Those who eat more & do nothing , they should go to a dietitian to get a diet chart and join a gym. The one in second category should go to a doctor called Endocrinologist to find out the cause of weight gain and then take his advice . Thyroid & Insulin resistance can be likely cause ! In girls if there is excess weight especially around the waist ,then should go for Insulin Resistance testing
