I really really really want a puppy!?

i never liked dogs and i only liked cats.now i read a book about loving dog and his owner.and i really want one! but there is a big problem,i have asthma !i had 2 cats but i had so much asthma i had to givve one away.the other is still with me and i would get asthma time to time.i am very sad when i see people having fun with their dogs and i cant even choose if i want one or not because asthma can kill me!if a tiny cat can give me enough asthma to go to emergency room,a dog could kill me! i would love it if i can choose if i want a puppy.please give me a solution to this heartache,i bet you love dogs and will be broken if you can never have one in your life.how can i get a dog?
