Can my parents see my texts?

I need good answers i dont have a lot to hide on texts but i keep thinking about how my mom said she can see my texts and its making things weird i feel lke i cant do anything on my phone because she can see everything but is it true ? CAN SHE REALLY SEE MY TEXTS ONLINE OR ON A PHONE BILL? love to get some help from you guys thanks
