He probably would have reacted a whole lot better if you wouldn't have kept it a secret. Since you probably don't have a time machine I would apologize for hurting him but tell him you love her and your baby and will be good to them both. Then tell him you hope he can accept it and be a great uncle to your child. He'll come around. Right now he's hurt and feels betrayed because you guys went behind his back. He'll get over eventually.
