Why didn't MARSOC units remain the structure of Det 1?

I know ive asked similar questions, but it boggles my mind the Corps would take a unit that was operating at a amazingly sucsessful level then, not only disband it, but not even retain the unit's structure. I mean it was right there in the MCSOCOM Proof of Concept Deployment Evaluation Report that they should only make minimal changes to the structure. They could have kept the whole 1 MSOR-3 MSOB- 12 MSOC- 48(?) MSOT structure but base the MSOC on Det 1.
